Process Drawing

Coffee on Paper

What i did was use coffee, paper, and water
Then i poured the water on the paper
I took some coffee grains and threw it on the wet paper
This is how it looked while it was still wet
And this is the final product after I let it dry

I thought this was would be a good idea to see how quickly the coffee grains would dissolve in the water and how dark or light it would've came out. To me it looks like an art piece i would put in a museum because it's different and it somehow tells a story. of grief.

  1. Great Process Drawing! Simple process but it yields beautiful results and you've described it as a demonstration of elements of physics acting on the object (the way the coffee dries, how it changes color, the kinds of flowing patterns it assumes over time) .

It's great that you've found an exciting artist in Newsome! I think your responses to his piece are good and thoughtful.I would challenge you to be more descriptive, however. Ideally, you could describe how some of the specific dancer movements relate to one another, how you think the technology of the Kinect motion sensor changes the meaning of the movements, etc. But great job (A)
