Homework #1

1. What I would want people to know about is that I am very giving. I always put my friends and family before myself although I know it shouldn't be like that. I always said to myself that if I couldn't be happy one day I want my friends and family to be happy and seeing them happy makes me happy. It's something very weird but it's something many people don't know about me. Sometimes I put myself first but defiantly most of the time it's my friends or family.

2. One thing that I would want to "bear witness" to, that would be remembered would be how much my culture means to me. I'm a Latina, born in Puerto Rico. My entire family is puerto rican, we celebrate the Puerto Rican Day Parade in June and the partying starts a week before the parade. The flag gets put up everywhere  and we play all of the traditional music played in PR. It's a very family orientated celebration. Then on the day of the Parade we wake up really early and head down to the city and grab our spot so that we could see the parade perfectly!
